Last couple of days and home
On one of our last days we were able to see the baby chicks that were being raised which we had bought for Tooro High School. The students and staff would be raising them to use for the sale of their eggs. They were adorable! We spent these last days reflecting about our trip and planning for the next one. Some of our team is planning on creating their own non-profit organization when they get back to work globally. Here are some final photos of some of our team during the last couple days along with the countryside.
What an experience I had in Africa! The trip was exhausting and exhilarating and thought provoking and something I think every young person should do at least once in their lifetime in order to realize what they truly have and to be thankful for it. Our plane ride was long, but what do you expect. You flew from Africa. I was excited to be home to see my family and friends. You don't realize how much you miss them until your back. I also missed a good hot shower. I'm lucky to have such a great family and friends that I can and have shared my experiences with.
